At the beginning of Act 1 of Diablo 2 you arrive at the camp of the Sisters of the Hidden Eye, which serves as your base for the rest of the game. In the camp there is a blacksmith (Charsi), possibilities for trading or gambling (Akara and Gheed) as well as quests, which the NPCs present there offer bit by bit.

1. Act 1 action

Warriv in camp wants to go to Lut Gholein, the port city in Act 2. There the Horadrim Tal Rasha long ago presented Baal, the Lord of Destruction. He reports that recently a lonely wanderer moved towards the monastery of the Sisters of the Hidden Eye. Since then their gates have been closed and the way to the east blocked. Your task is to get to the bottom of this.

2. General tips for the 1st act

In every area outside the camp there are waypoints that serve as teleporters between the respective zone and the camp. You must first find and activate them in the randomly generated world. Once activated, they will be available in subsequent games, but the zones around them will be regenerated each time you restart the game.
Always take some scrolls of the city portal and identification with you. Until Deckard Cain is freed, you will need to identify your items yourself. Provisionally set up city portals are good for escaping in difficult situations like boss battles.
If you find any gems, pick them up first, as you can use the Horadic Cube to upgrade them from Act 2 onwards. Otherwise, you can use them to enhance armour and weapons with sockets.

4. Single monsters of the 1st act

In addition to champion monsters, the unique monsters, including act and quest bosses, are a great place to go when it comes to the best items in the game. Below you will find those of act 1.

Note: The monster enchantments listed here are basic abilities, with additional abilities added depending on the difficulty level of the game (Normal, Nightmare, Hell). Furthermore, all of the above-mentioned resistances in the difficulty level Hell become immunities, e.g. Lightning Resistant -> Immune to Lightning Attacks.
